New Parking Permit and Curbside Parking Restrictions Coming to Cherry Creek.
Posted on Apr 6th, 2023
Parking Permit Changes Are Coming:
If you have tried to renew your parking permits on-line and if you tried to renew for 2 guest passes, you may have received a rejection email. That is because you can now only get one guest pass per household. This has been the case for 10 years for new residents but some legacy addresses had continued to receive 2 guest passes until this year. So if you do apply, just ask for ONE guest pass and you will probably be successful in your on-line renewal. CCNNA has notified the City of this issue and they are working to correct the on-line renewal system to make this more clear.
ALSO – you need to be aware of changes coming in 2024 when you will have a charge for passes and will be more limited in what you are able to obtain. You will be limited to 2 passes per household with your choice of one car specific pass and one guest/flex pass or two parking specific passes, but these changes and others will not go into effect until May 2024. The other changes going into effect next year will include reduced permit only parking and changes to the 2-hour parking restrictions on those blocks that have them.
CCNNA encourages all residents to come to the May 16th neighborhood meeting to hear the City’s Scott Burton explain the proposed changes coming in 2024. PLEASE get involved and participate and give comments on this new program in a virtual public hearing scheduled for
Friday, May 5th 11:00am -12:30pm but you must register to participate at bit.ly/DenverRPP.
