Salvation Army Holiday Toy Volunteer Event
On Saturday, December 13th, Cherry Creek North Neighborhood Association (CCNNA) volunteers will be joining a group of volunteers from Lowry United Neighborhoods (LUN) to help the Salvation Army sort toys for distribution to families in need across the Denver Metro Area.
This wonderful service tradition was started in Cherry Creek North over 18 years ago by former CCNNA Board members, Kathy and Denny Head, and who are now Lowry United Neighborhoods Board members.
This year we will be sorting toys by gender and age so that the local Salvation Army Corps can distribute the toys based on the family’s specific toy requests.
Event Information:
Date: Saturday, December 13th
Time: 9:00 to 12:00 PM.
If you would like to volunteer for the toy sorting event, please email Wayne New at
